Interlaken Congregational Church. Funded by Mass Historic Commission. Terry Hallock Architect, Pittsfield, MA. Painted the steeple too.
Designed and installed shoring and jacking system to support 50 ton masonry steeple for foundation replacement. This little pile of rocks was subsiding into the earth under the weight.
up..up...
...and away with that little pile of stones.
Now we can dig down and make a nice big footing to spread out the weight of all that brick. Big steel column in the middle.
Big fat masonry pier - should last forever.
